Pumpkin Garden
Perfect for munchkins to play a starring role in their first Pumpkin Patch. Curated pumpkin themed spaces for the perfect picture suitable for munchkins to monsters.
Merlin’s Wood
Merlin’s Tintagel, Wizard’s Washhouse, Miss Spell’s School and Casper’s Café are our magically themed playhouses designed for exploring and immersive role-play.
Mutiny Bottom
Walk the plank or hoist the flag on our ghostly galleons. Bounce on a Ghostbouncer racetrack, hook a Halloween duck and play pumpkin games!
Dracula’s Estate
Be a part of Vlad’s Gallery of Shame then sneak down a secret tunnel to his new coffin room. Enter if you dare! The spooky fortress is for the most intrepid of explorers.
PICK YOUR PERFECT PUMPKIN
No visit would be complete without a visit to our enchanting Pumpkin Patch. Choose from our spectacular array of different colours and sizes of squashes and gourds. We advise you pick your pumpkins at the beginning of your visit to make the most of the day. There will be lots of wheelbarrows warriors on hand to help you take your pumpkin back to your car.
WORKING WITH NATURE
Every year we plant sections of our fields with Phaecelia, a pollinator friendly plant which creates a nectar rich haven for butterflies, hoverflies and bees and this year they have absolutely loved it! It’s also a green manure that naturally improves the soil and prevents nitrogen degradation. It’s all part of our regenerative farming programme here on Slade Farm. As custodians of 2,000 acres of farmland, we are committed to looking after every acre so it not only meets the needs of today but for future generations which means favouring techniques that emulate and support nature. Returning Summer 2025
This year we are strengthening the health and vitality of our sunflower fields with a regenerative programme that will enrich the ecosystem, improve our sustainability and increase biodiversity.
We are very sorry to disappoint our loyal customers but are looking forward to welcoming you all back next summer for more sunflower fun!
WHOLESALE PUMPKINS
We are a leading supplier of pumpkins throughout the UK to wholesale and retail distributors including major supermarkets, garden centres, farm shops and events like weddings, Halloween and pumpkin-themed parks and attractions. Our pumpkins are planted in June and handpicked from our fields in September.
Rogate Pumpkin Patch is just one of the events we hold on our farm. Established in 1923 by Bill (William) Davey, Slade Farm is a third-generation family run farm growing pumpkins, asparagus, sweetcorn and cereals nestled in the South Downs in West Sussex.
